Ever come across a item you want really bad, but the shipping charges out weigh the price of the reasonable price range. This seems to be a trend that grows fast and a trend Ebay feels no exceptability to hold standards too.
I look for a battery, for my Dell Latitude C600 850mhz laptop, thats right with the growing cost for updating all the time I've stopped and settled with what I have instead of chasing the updates all the time,it's a no win situation with electronics as they update so often and outdate so fast.
Any how I check Ebay for everything, before I go to the store and look for it new.
I come across a few batteries use/New the price seems low on the bids for the time left. All ebayers know that for the most part it's due to people waiting till the last minutes to place a bid, but hold on it seems these days and for few years people feel to try and turn a profit they rip you off.
People know that people don't always read the full description of a ebay listing, they read enough to see it's working, brand new and no problems and bid, but after they bid or buy they soon find out after they get a email or read further there shipping rate is 3x's or 5x's the actual shipping rate.
Now we know there are laws in price gouging where do these laws fall into Ebay.
Ebay sellers use these techniques to sell things fast, what appears to be cheap and get away with it cause ebay refuses to step in a tell sellers that anything over normal charges or just a slight bit higher is unprofessional and will not be tolerated.
I urge any ebay buyer to read all terms carefully and read it all. Don't let Bullsh-t Ebay sellers trap you in this. Granite we all should read everything on documentation we buy or sell, but the sad fact is we don't human nature and it won't change but still doesn't give someone the right to exploit these holes and Ebay should step up and put a end to it, as they do recieve a portion of that Bullsh-t charge per there fee's, so I guess that makes ebay just as much a crook as the seller.
