New britian Army commander is absolutely right , all the way to the Bank. Iraq really didn't want us there to begin with honestly, we went by the word of some Iraq exiles who had a vengenance for saddam. We took these exile under the wing and they feed us some crucial intel, but in the long run it was phony as a texas holdem bluff call.
We've rid Iraq of saddam. Were in a country that operates and governs itself off of muslim or Islam views, who are we to tell them there religion should be seperate from State thats our views.
We all are different and there's nothing wrong with different cause thats what makes it interesting. Were walking into a country that has practiced religion as every aspect of there life and being, you can't walk in and distrupt there world and expect them to be happy and start abidding by the westerners new democratic government takes time to understand, take in and realize it could be really good, but thats their choice not ours.
Westerners presence has kept chaos alive. You know they won't quite just cause America pulled out and pulling out isn't a lose it's a step to let Iraq govern Iraq. I know things are far from being over, but if our presence wasn't so in your face all the time, maybe Iraq could actually govern itself without outside influence all the time.
Some of my opinions might be lude or out there but we still get the same casualties all the time. Violence is always there when were there. It's clear they want religion as part of the law let them govern there own country, make there own freedom choices....hear the choices of there own.
